Overview

RuneWords keeps the game working by saving progress, settings, and purchase status on your device. The app may also use Firebase-backed services for app operations, progress support, analytics, crash reporting, and configuration. Game Center is used for leaderboards and achievements when available.

Age suitability and children's privacy

RuneWords is intended for players age 13 and older. The app is not directed to children under 13, and RuneWords does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information through RuneWords-controlled services, contact support@runewords.online so we can review and delete it where required.

What is stored

RuneWords may store local progress, tutorial status, settings, coin balance, level completion, purchase status, and daily challenge activity needed to operate the game. Online services may use player identifiers or app-generated IDs to support progress, purchases, analytics, and support requests.

Services the app may contact

The app may contact Firebase services for anonymous app authentication, progress support, analytics, crash reporting, and app configuration. It may also contact Apple's App Store services for purchases and restores, Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements, and Google ad and consent services when ads are available for your region and consent status.

Ads, analytics, and consent

RuneWords may ask for ad-related consent, may request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission, and may log limited analytics to find crashes, improve puzzle balance, and verify purchase or ad delivery. Paid ad-free purchases remove ads as described in the store and terms.

Retention and deletion

If you play only on your device, most gameplay state remains on that device. RuneWords can help with deletion requests for data controlled by RuneWords services. Apple billing records and Game Center data are managed through Apple. To request help, email support@runewords.online.
